LOST CHILDHOOD

When I was younger I wanted to learn music and dance,
But why did I miss that chance?
Why my only goal was to mug up for exams?
Why did I realise so late that those marks didn't carry any meaning?
Maybe because of the people around me whom I kept hearing

A SLEEVELESS SHIRT

What does one sleeveless shirt seem to you?
For most it will be a piece of clothing,
Or maybe fashion
But for some,

WHERE SHE WROTE, THERE SHE ROSE

She could not read the book as her eyes were filled with tears,

As there were sounds of whispers she hears.

Many emotions start to trigger inside of her,

As on the surface come all her fears.

Emotions and feelings

There are a lot of emotions and feelings triggering inside of me,
They sometimes distract me from my goal.
They give me immense pleasure or immense pain,
When they are not under control.

THERE'S A LOT IN MY LIFE THAT I ASPIRE

There's a lot in my life that I aspire,

But is it love or is it desire?

I heard it's not important, what I achieve or what I acquire,

All that matters is what I do and how I inspire.

There are a lot of successful people whom we tend to idolize and admire,

Are they really successful, or they just tend to appear?

PROJECT WORK

Project Work

You've got to make your project work as they are very easy to score in,

Even if copying information from the internet can be really boring.

Two projects for each of the six subjects,

that's what my teacher says.

All the projects are to be finished by the end of the vacations,

So I asked my teacher, what about enjoying in the summer holidays?

I am Stuck......
Always had been......
with a burning desire to be free......
The system is a cage and dreams are a trap
Sometimes the cage seems to be made of gold......
But sometimes, it's just a cage.
Some just know how to sing like a caged bird.
Some just sit there seeking pleasure in the fact that the cage is made of gold,
and put on a fake smile.
Some desperately try to get out,
but only hurt their wings in the process.
Some birds die out of suffocation.
Some birds get tired by singing for their master.

STUDY! STUDY! STUDY!

STUDY! STUDY! STUDY!

Study! Study! Study!
There's nothing else you should do,
As books are all you need to go through.
All other activities are useless!
Music, Dance and Drama are a waste of time,
Sports and Games would not fill your stomach in the future!
If you don't study, then you're just a failure!
You need to buck up!
You can't be successful just out of dumb luck!
Do you want to become a maid or a servant?
Pay attention to the lectures or the endless rant,
Or how we will show off to that neighboring aunt?
As you need to top in your class!
So Study! Study! Study!

Studying is your religion and your marks are your god,
Coaching center is your temple, pray there as long as you can!
