There's nothing else you should do,
As books are all you need to go through.
All other activities are useless!
Music, Dance and Drama are a waste of time,
Sports and Games would not fill your stomach in the future!
If you don't study, then you're just a failure!
You need to buck up!
You can't be successful just out of dumb luck!
Do you want to become a maid or a servant?
Pay attention to the lectures or the endless rant,
Or how we will show off to that neighboring aunt?
As you need to top in your class!
So Study! Study! Study!
Studying is your religion and your marks are your god,
Coaching center is your temple, pray there as long as you can!
Your only mantra should be eat, sleep, study and repeat,
To prepare for austerities like Boards, JEE, and NEET!
You need to leave others behind to achieve that god,
God will lead to the path of salvation in the form of 'top institute' and 'highly paying job'.
Even if you are a fish, you have to climb that tree,
As there is no room for you to move around as free!
Only on your answer sheet, you should show your talent,
Your only goal should be to become a top student!

Do you want to be a burden for your parents?
Who took care of you since you were an infant.
Remember, in that kitty party, how Aunty had boasted?
That how her son got a rank in the top hundred?
While you are playing guitar and wasting your time,
Aggarwal sahab and Sharma ji's children are studying so hard,
That they would move ahead and you would be left behind!
If you get better marks than Sharma ji's son,
Then there's something your Mom and Dad can show off in the upcoming family function!

If your parents' chests are not filled with pride,
Then how will they be able to find for you a beautiful bride?
Or how will you produce beautiful babies?
To raise your kids, you'll need some rupees,
Or who will pay there school and tuition fees?
If you get a secure and high paying job, you can lead the path for the next generation,
And stop them from having too much fun,
So that they can also attain salvation!
Same religion has been and has to be taught from generation to generation,
That the god called 'marks' indicates your success, intelligence and wisdom,
As that is the whole story of our Education System!
